DISC Operations Manager

 

Our brand new DISC facility based on Harwell Campus is seeking for a capable, motivated and self-driven Operations Manager! The role will see you running the daily operations of a fantastic high-tech facility aiming to support the growth of UK Economy.

This is the perfect role for you if you will feel at home in a fast-based agile environment and have strong background in running and operating facilities; from stock taking to procurement contracts to meeting and greeting current and potential customers. It is a great and varied opportunity offering plenty of fun challenges as well as job satisfaction and sense of achievement.

What to expect?

A busy and varied day! You will be involved with the whole lifecycle of Operational management from meeting and greeting customers; maintaining business relationships and seizing new opportunities to writing risk assessments; overseeing Health & Safety; managing assets; stock control and generating meaningful reports on utilisation and business opportunities.

This is a permanent role directly with Satellite Applications Catapult. We are based in Harwell with great public transport connections from all of Oxfordshire as well as London.
