You are invited to join us for ‘Innovation Friday’ networking event at the Leicester Innovation Hub (find us here) and there’ll also be cake!
Free Cake Friday provides an excellent opportunity to network with the Innovation Hub Team, enterprising academics from here at Leicester and other universities too, innovators from local companies, recent student/graduate start-ups, regional businesses and innovation support organisations in a friendly and informal environment. Drop in at any time from 10:00 to 16:00.
Highlights of this event:
- 10:00 Live demonstration of an Audi model autonomous vehicle with Prof Jose’ Miguel Rojas (University of Leicester) and his students, who have been selected to participate in the Audi Autonomous Driving Cup 2018;
- 12:00 Talk by Roland Leigh (EarthSense) on “Creating new jobs and opening new markets with space data;”
- 13:30 Speed dating with start-ups, innovators and local growth stakeholders;
- All day: Be part of the United Nations International Day of Friendship and contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
