Satellite Applications for Smart Mobility: New Opportunities for Scotland

Event Background:

Our Scottish Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications (SoXSA) and MaaS Scotland are hosting an event on 6 March 2019 from 9:30am – 15:30pm.

The event will focus on introducing the opportunities that satellite data can offer to the navigation and transport sector and the solutions it can offer in Scotland. Attendees will also be introduced to the types of funding that are available and how data from satellites can be useful in Scotland.

Event Agenda:

9.30am: Registration, tea and coffee

10.00am: Speakers including MaaS Scotland, SoXSA, ESA NAVISP and Andy Proctor, Technical Director (GNSS) at UK Space Agency

12.00pm: Challenge outline

12.30pm: Networking lunch

1.30pm: Roundtable sessions

3.30pm: Close
