We look forward to welcoming you to our next webinar on Thursday 28 May. During this webinar, we will be discussing how the European Space Agency (ESA) is supporting the space sector.
Cash flow shortages, investment uncertainty and access to funding have been quoted as some of the top challenges facing Space SMEs during COVID-19 through the UK Space Agency’s Weekly Survey. Many are experiencing delays in R&D procurements, drops in demand in commercial markets, and delays or shelving of finance decisions by private investors and banks.
Join us on Thursday 28 May for another UK Space Sector Webinar, which will explore how you can access funding and business support from the European Space Agency, and how it works closely with the UK Space Agency to support the space SME community to thrive. This event will take place online and all registered attendees will be emailed the webinar link and event details prior to the start of the event.
This webinar is part of a regular fortnightly COVID-19 webinar series that will provide an update on how UK space sector companies and academia are being impacted by the pandemic, as well as the latest advice, information and resources available. You will also have the opportunity to engage directly with senior leadership from government and industry and share how COVID-19 is impacting your organisation.
The UK Space Agency, the Department for International Trade, and the UKspace trade association are working together to help the space sector respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, and these webinars have been developed in partnership with the Satellite Applications Catapult, European Space Agency, ADS, and the Satellite Finance Network. These webinars are open to anyone working in the UK space sector.
Tell the UK government how it can support space businesses and help yours to recover once the pandemic is over – complete the weekly survey on the UKspace COVID-19 portal.
