Microtag Project Workshop

Date: Wednesday 24 May 2017

Time: 10:30 – 14:30

Venue: Satellite Applications Catapult, Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire. OX11 0QR

The Satellite Applications Catapult has been involved in an Innovate UK sponsored project examining the application of new technologies and analytical methods to electronic offender management technology. With cost pressure on the criminal justice system, there is an increased recognition that tagging technology is going to have a greater role to play in creating a safer society.

This project, led by CareWhere and Nottingham Scientific, is now concluding having identified some significant innovations that could be applied to new tags for offender management.

The Micotag Project workshop will discuss the need for such technology, detail the findings of the project (including a research breakthrough) and explore the proposed exploitation of the outcomes to improve existing technology.

Please note that this workshop is by invitation only.
