Digital Ship 2016

Hamburg, Germany.

08/09/2016 - 9:00 am

08/09/2016 - 6:00 pm

This event  aims to look at how the Maritime industry is reacting to an increased number of cyber threats borne out of the growing use of cloud and IoT applications, the number of devices used, and larger ships but fewer crew – meaning even more reliance on automation and remote monitoring. The event will discuss what policies, guidelines and best practices are already in place, and how the industry can identify, quantify and mitigate cyber risk.

Digital Ship aims to bring together end users with suppliers, cyber and security experts to discuss and debate these questions during a highly interactive and focused series of panels, which will seek to address the emerging, and demanding, relationship between maritime safety and cyber security.

Nick Lambert, our Maritime Domain Expert, will be chairing a session on cyber security.
