Workshop Overview

Satellite imagery is a vital source of data for emergencies, risky or time-sensitive operations. It provides large scale surveillance of conditions, but can also provide more detailed observations with current technology able to see down to 0.5m resolution.

This workshop aims to bring stakeholders from a range of sectors to discuss how social media feeds and alerts can be combined with satellite data to improve emergency response monitoring.
