Event Background

The Catapult are hosting this workshop in collaboration with Fugro, with the aim of stimulating opportunities for collaborations. Within this industry, collaboration is key to building strong ideas and more efficient capabilities. At the Catapult we believe that bringing together the skills and resources of multiple organisations can deliver the best results, and this workshop will aim to spark those ideas and potential collaborations.

Throughout the morning we will cover the Catapult’s In-Orbit Demonstration Programme, which provides opportunities for organisations to have their own data and satellite capabilities through low-cost, fast tracked access to space to demonstrate a new service. We will also explore the capabilities of Fugro’s SpaceStar technology which aims to provide the base for high-accuracy, real-time navigation services. For an introduction to SpaceStar, please click to download the flyer.
