The GODAN Summit brings together world leaders, researchers, farmers, students and others – public, private and non-profit united around a collaboration on agriculture and nutrition data openness. It is the largest event planned for open data in agriculture and nutrition. The goals of the Summit are to illustrate the opening, the use, and the importance of agriculture and nutrition data.

The two-day Summit will be held September 15-16, 2016 at the New York Midtown Hilton. It includes high-level speakers, concurrent sessions, exhibition hall, lightning presentations, and deliverable announcements.

The Satellite Applications Catapult will be exhibiting at this event;  aligning our Sustainable Living programme and how we are working to maximise the contribution of satellites to improving crop yields, and the opportunities for organisations within the global precision farming market.

Come and talk to us and find out about:

  • The use of open satellite data in agriculture
  • How we inform the user community about novel technological developments
  • Our focus on the exploitation of Copernicus’ Sentinel data

To organise a meeting with one of our technical experts at the event, please email: marketing@sa.catapult.org.uk
