The aim of the workshop/meeting is to bring the UK land cover mapping community up to date with current and future developments in the field and create a forum for discussion / networking between the key stakeholders in the academic, government and commercial sectors. The meeting will also address initiatives operating at the European level (e.g. Copernicus & EAGLE) to put UK developments in a broader context. The outcomes will inform and guide future work in this areas in the UK and promote links to European initiatives. It will be a 2-day meeting / workshop with formal presentations and posters. The afternoon of the second day will include an EAGLE Group meeting.

This workshop is a 2 day event that will take place at on the Univeristy of Leicester campus.
