The aim of this workshop is to gain a clearer understanding of the socio-economic impacts of the UK’s current aquaculture sector and how this may change with future growth. The workshop will showcase the integration of satellite, GIS and socio-economic data to build a picture of the development of the UK aquaculture sector in the South and South West marine plan areas with a focus on revenue, employment, skills and wider economic multiplier effects along the supply-chain.
