In support of LSW 2017, the Catapult is exhibiting and also sponsoring the Space Start-up Challenge, whereby shortlisted start-ups will be judged for their innovations by a committee of industry experts, including the Catapult’s Head of Business Innovation, Dr Sam Adlen.

Dr Adlen will be speaking at 1.00pm on the first day of the conference, on the subject of ‘Technological Advances Driving the Next Generation of Satellite Applications’, while Emerging Technology Lead in Digital Intelligence, Stephen Spittle, will be participating in the SME Showcase Panel on the xxxx day.

Stuart Martin, CEO, Satellite Applications Catapult, said: “Over the past two years, London Space Week has established itself as an important event in the UK space industry’s calendar. We are therefore delighted to support and take part in 2017. The opportunity to help boost new space businesses through the Start-up Space Challenge is especially important to the Catapult, as well as our overall commitment to support the growth of the UK space sector.”
