Operations Manager

 

Satellite Applications Catapult is at the forefront of innovation and technology and as such, our offices need to be agile, responsive and flexible. As we enter our new stage of growth, we are on the lookout for an Operations Manager to work across both Strategic Facilities and Operations Facilities management.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a facilities and people management, looking to take on a new challenge in an agile, technology driven environment.

As the perfect candidate, you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment where no two days will be the same, where your role will grow and evolve as our facilities landscape develops. You will have demonstrable experience in a similar role where you have led small teams and developed and implemented both facilities strategy and the day to day operational management of facilities.

What to expect?

An amazing team of 6! An agile working environment where decisions are reached quickly, and challenges are always welcomed. And the responsibility, as well as a high degree of autonomy, in looking after all aspects of:

  • Running strategic and generic facilities
  • Aligning strategic facilities to customer needs, including complete ownership management of technical as well as operational needs.
  • Facility pricing, revenue and cost models, bid writing, and reporting
  • Ensuring the smooth running and legal compliance of 4 (soon to be 6) centres
  • Management, oversight and cover of L1 operational services
  • Reporting on facilities KPI’s, budget and utilisation
  • Stakeholder management with customers and internal teams

Quick facts:

This is a permanent role directly with Satellite Applications Catapult. We are based in Harwell with great public transport connections from all of Oxfordshire as well as London. We offer competitive salaries with annual reviews, end of a financial year bonus, 28 days of annual leave plus all your bank holidays paid for as an extra.
