Opportunity Overview

The Satellite Applications Catapult is seeking in-field research proposals to be executed over a 12 month trial period, commencing 1st March 2016.

This research will make use of GNSS (and other systems) and must help develop our understanding of the benefit of both mobile phone and OBC-plug-in device based sensor equipment to improve the safety of driver behaviour.  There will be a particular emphasis on the benefit of such interventions in combination with driver training / speed awareness courses.

The research will offer the opportunity to validate positive revenue opportunities with the possibility of widening the trials to a commercial offering. To ensure the research is objective, we are expecting consortium bids to the total value of £20,000.

If you are interested, please respond via our opportunities form by entering the relevant information.
