The Satellite Applications Catapult is undertaking a project with Cayetano Heredia University in northern Peru to improve healthcare provision in the remote areas of the Amazonia. The project analyses the technological gaps that can better support patients and practitioners in the local Peruvian communities, focusing predominately on maternal, newborn and child health, as well as tropical diseases health cases.
The project has financial support from the British Embassy in Lima and the Peru Prosperity Fund programme. It aims to share knowledge, education and good practises in the field, as well as the transfer of technology, products and services with our partners in Peru in the long term, enabling them to build a more sustainable, resilient and well-connected healthcare ecosystem.
If your organisation works in the healthcare sector and your area of expertise is digital health or connectivity solutions, please do register to our database to stay updated on future procurement and collaborative opportunities in Peru.
