The Bid Manager is responsible for working with Business Development, Programme Leads, Technical Engineers and Project Management to competitively position offers and services in the Satellite Applications field.
The Bid Manager will assemble and support multiple bid teams with the relevant technical and business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process.
The jobholder will have proven capability in delivering winning, multi-million-pound complex and bespoke proposals. Ideally has a background in solutions and services and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery, working closely with Programme Leads. They will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and work with Project Managers and Technical Leads to determine solution delivery. Experience delivering proposals to government funded bodies (e.g Innovate UK or European Space Agency) is essential. Experience in the completion of online submissions and to have been involved with e-bids and e-auctions is ideal.
