Programme Support Analyst

Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire

Responsible to: Head of Project Delivery

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, 3 month probation and 1 month notice

Holiday: 28 days per annum, plus statutory holidays.

The Role

The successful individual with work for the Head of Project Delivery and be a part of the Project Delivery team. The successful individual will initially provide support to one of the Catapult’s most significant international programmes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assistance with project planning, risk and issue management
  • Budget tracking
  • Assistance to the Programme Manager with management of consortium milestones, funder reports.
  • Supporting project managers through the project lifecycle with Planview queries such as project requests, project setup, financial planning, project closure.
  • Assisting with monthly financial reporting
  • Analysis using Excel and Planview
  • Creating presentations

About You

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Organised with an attention to detail
  • Numerate
  • Friendly with good communication skills
  • Enjoy solving problems and developing solutions

Desired experience

  • MS Project and Planview experience desirable but not required. Training can be provided.
  • Experience of Prince2 or other Project Management methodology desirable
