Equal Opportunities: The Satellite Application Catapult strives to be an equal opportunities employer and commitment to this process will be expected.
Are you an aspiring Project Manager? Have you got some experience in working on small projects? Looking for that opportunity to run your first big project? Here at the Satellite Applications Catapult we have an entry level Project Manager opportunity for a motivated individual to join the ever-growing Catapult family!
At the Satellite Applications Catapult, we look at ways of applying satellite technology to solve real-life problems across a vast range of industries. These vary from looking at ways to improve farming efficiency that leads to reduced use of pesticides and fertilisers, to looking at ways of stopping illegal fishing or predicting floods. The opportunities of satellite technology are endless, and we currently have some 70 live projects of various sizes. Therefore, we’re looking to expand our Project Management team with a driven new Project Manager. We hope it is you!
Ideally, you will have some Project Management experience and are familiar with one or more PM methodologies (Prince/Agile etc.). You understand the process of planning and implementing a project as well as managing budgets, issues, actions and risks. You are a confident communicator, active listener and have excellent organisational skills. Any experience of implementing a project governance process across Programmes, including templates and standards would be highly advantageous but not essential.
