The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is a world-leading multi-disciplinary science organisation, delivering economic, societal, scientific and international benefits to the UK and its people.
To quantify existing technical facilities; such as clean rooms and labs, availability and future demand on the Harwell Campus to drive future investment. Reporting 50% time to the Satellite Applications Catapult and 50% time to STFC.
To collate detail of technical facilities at the Harwell Campus
To collate usage data of technical facilities, including oversubscription, usage patterns, availability, how early you need to book, etc. This will require designing a data capture form and liaising with onsite facilities managers.
To design a questionnaire for companies looking to use technical facilities on site to collate expected future demand. To include questions relating to pricing, timeliness, technical specification, adjacent facility requirements etc.
To collate a target list of companies that could use the technical facilities in the future, including current users, onsite companies and potential new customers.
With the help of the Harwell Space Cluster Inward Investment group contact the companies to get the information.
Design and build a spreadsheet to collate and analyse the results.
Present results to the Harwell Space Cluster Inward Investment group.
Prepare handover documentation so that additional information can be added in the future.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.

8 weeks fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate but nominally with a start date around 27 June which is also the SPIN induction day at Harwell. Salary is £1,500 per calendar month. (guide only)
