Space Technology
The UK Space sector continues to grow, with income now reaching £14.8 billion and an average of 39 new companies joining the sector every year since 2012. Scotland plays an important part in the success of the sector, with 18% of the UK Space sector employees based in Scotland.
Scotland has a dynamic space sector, with high technology, a high skill base and research and development intense activity. At this event you will hear from companies growing within the sector in Scotland, and some of the challenges they have faced. You will also hear about the support that is available to companies of all sizes.
The event is being held in collaboration with the Scottish Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications (SoXSA) and the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC).
