Opportunities in Space – CubeSat Payloads

19/05/2016

Opportunities in Space – CubeSat Payloads

Event organised by Space Network Scotland, STFC-UK ATC, SoxSA and Clyde Space.

The Space Sector – both upstream and downstream – is in an exciting period with more and more innovative R&D being undertaken and commercialised.  Prominent in the sector are CubeSats which turn technology into space hardware, and hence into data for users, at an unprecedented rate.

One area of opportunity within CubeSats that could contribute to driving market growth is the development of new payloads.   These are the key to increased demand for CubeSat platforms and new applications.

The objective of this workshop is to bring players together to stimulate more companies, supported by universities and research institutes, to be active in this space.  To this end the meeting will:

  • Identify potential markets for CubeSat data that will drive the sector.
  • Identify the existing skills, expertise and technology that are available/required for new payloads

A detailed agenda is here and you can register here.
