This September the South Coast Centre for Excellence in Satellite Applications is delighted to announce the launch of our first ever monthly networking event titled ORBIT SOUTH COAST.
Created with the aim of connecting key players in the UK space industry and providing an opportunity to discover the region’s space related activities, whilst discussing the sector on both a local and national level. Our monthly networking events are an occasion in which we can meet to share our knowledge and skills over tea and a sandwich. A chance to hear the latest news, funding opportunities and listen to experts across the sector share their thoughts and ideas.
Each event will have 3 guest speakers, to cover the national picture as well as the upstream and downstream parts of the sector and there will be time for questions and networking too. Speakers include Tom Greenwood UK and ESA Bid Manager at ICEYE, Mike Curtis Rouse, Head of Manufacturing for Space at the Satellite Applications Catapult and Anita Bernie, Strategy and Business Execution at KISPE Space.
Please note that these events are in-person events based at the Technopole in Portsmouth (Technopole, Kingston Cres, North End, Portsmouth PO2 8FA). There is free parking available on site). Held towards the end of each month, the event will last approximately 1.5 hours. There is limited availability to each event, so do make sure you sign up today!
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. And you can follow our Twitter and LinkedIn accounts where we share regular updates about our work and the events.
We look forward to seeing you very soon!
