Considering the rural nature of the South West region and the social isolation many carers experience, the potential difference that satellites could make is now being explored.
As part of The Connected Healthcare (CHC) project our colleagues at Falmouth University are investigating if mobile messaging technology can help reach and understand issues relating to unpaid carers in a remote area like Cornwall.
We’d love you to share our flyer so we can reach people in your network who may like to get involved.
The CHC project supports the delivery of satellite support to care homes and GP surgeries, as part of its funding and association with the UK Space Agency and Goonhilly Earth Station Ltd.
