As a Satellite Solutions Architect, and part of the CTO team, you will be empowered to design novel solutions that incorporate technologies (like Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems) to address these Health and Wellbeing market challenges, will create enduring partnerships and cross-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver solutions into market. You will work with other experts within the CTO team and across the Catapult and will help to foster and develop the skills to ensure the Catapult and the UK continue to lead in the commercial exploitation of satellite services and applications.
This opportunity is perfect for you if you are passionate about technology and are looking for a role that will allow you to operate on a senior level with strategic input. You will contribute your own expertise to a multi-disciplinary team and influence the health and wellbeing market trajectories by integrating advanced technologies into novel and disruptive solutions that create an edge to enhance business competitiveness.
You will be degree educated in a relevant discipline engineering / science / information technology / robotics / mechatronics etc. and have significant experience with one or more of the key technology areas (Artificial Intelligence / Autonomous Systems / Satellite Services) or proven experience in a Healthcare technology business or a relevant research entity working in this sector. You are used to working at a senior level, are self-starting, and embrace the responsibility and accountability that comes with decision making. As an excellent communicator, you are able to identify and secure interests of research and commercial organisations to create powerful partnerships able to deliver solutions.

Quick facts: This is a permanent role directly with Satellite Applications Catapult. We are based in Harwell with great public transport connections from all of Oxfordshire as well as London. We offer competitive salaries with annual reviews, end of a financial year bonus, 28 days of annual leave plus all your bank holidays paid for as an extra.
