Ellie Harrison

Ellie joined the Catapult in July 2021 and leads the organisation's People strategy, spanning organisational development, talent, reward, culture and employee experience. Prior to this, she was Director of People & Culture at GenesisCare UK, a global healthcare business, where she led the UK People function across clinical, operational and corporate teams during a period of rapid expansion and steered the organisation's people response to Covid-19, including workforce risk management and wellbeing programmes for frontline clinical staff. Before GenesisCare, Ellie spent seven years at Spire Healthcare, one of the UK's largest private hospital groups with around 12,000 employees, where she designed and established its HR Shared Services Centre, led large-scale hospital turnaround programmes, and managed the successive TUPE transfers. She began her career in HR roles across local government, the NHS and the social care sector. Ellie is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a qualified executive coach, and a Trustee of CLASP, a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities.
