As part of the Local Growth Collaboration between the UK Space Agency and Satellite Applications Catapult, we are thrilled to be offering tailored business support to organisations from any sector interested in the commercial benefits of space data and technology for their business. Delivered by Exotopic and BryceTech, the support is provided across five areas:

• In Orbit Servicing and Manufacturing
• Launch and Propulsion
• Positioning, navigation, and timing
• Satellite Communication

In partnership with the UK Space Agency, the Satellite Applications Catapult is excited to be offering a series of Space Technology Innovation Masterclasses, where sector experts will share tools and techniques for designing with space technology and support you to explore these using your own services as examples.

At the Satellite Applications Catapult, we employ a User Centred Design (UCD) approach to space enabled service development, putting the user at the heart of product, technology, or service design to de-risk its development. It is this approach that we use to help people determine the right type of data, technology, or opportunities for their application, and we want to share it with you.

Starting with taking a user centred approach to better understand the problems you are trying to solve, to focusing on understanding your place in the Earth observation data landscape and leveraging connectivity to ensure your data service can be delivered to anywhere!

Space Innovation Masterclasses run four times a year, next one will be announced on our events pages.

Business Evolution sprints are strategically targeted 121 engagements centred around supporting high potential businesses. The areas covered are done so through the lens of the space sector and based on 10 years of space innovation commercialisation experience. The business and design sprint are a support service uniquely designed and developed by the Catapult to deliver value to businesses at any stage of development, from concept stage to large and well-established firms, focused on commercialising innovative satellite-based solutions.

The Incubator and Accelerator Programme at Westcott is a new funding opportunity that will enable businesses of various sizes and maturity, to access the facilities and expert teams based at Westcott to explore, build, and test their innovations.

The Environmental Space Living Lab unites space, market and tech experts with policy makers, academia and end users. This collaborative space enables the exploration and analysis of challenges, co-designing and testing innovative solutions, and accelerating their commercialisation. By doing so, it drives business growth while generating long-term social and environmental impacts.

A UK-wide space accelerator programme run for businesses of different sizes.

Delivered through a partnership with the UK Space Agency, Entrepreneurial Spark and Exotopic, they are offering multiple routes for intrepid entrepreneurs to develop their businesses in the space sector.
