Position Navigation Timing Innovation Support Workshop

Transport is one of several key sectors who are heavily reliant on Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) services. These services, often geospatial systems based, are critical to functions in logistics chains, operational management, fuel efficiency and safe operation.

Organised by UK Space Agency and supported by Connected Places Catapult and Satellite Applications Catapult’s, this event aims to:

• Update you on recent key developments in support for users of PNT systems, including Government policy and funding initiatives, technical expert support and the use of schemes from organisations like the European Space Agency (ESA), in particular the Navigation Innovation
• Support Programme (NAVISP), to support integration of PNT systems into your applications.
  Enable you to engage with funders, technical experts, and new companies; share success stories from NAVISP and expose the community to the ESA approach.
• Understand the important link between geospatial insights and freight and logistics, in line with Department for Transport’s Future of Freight Plan, through the presentation of the Freight Innovation Cluster and the Freight Innovation Fund accelerator.
