Are you working on ways in which space-enabled connectivity can solve a problem? Do you find navigating the space enabled telecommunication network and services landscape confusing and frustrating? Are you looking for some clarity on how to make the most of satellite and cellular communication systems for your business, product or service? If you want to gain insights into the challenges and opportunities of adopting advanced connectivity solutions this masterclass is tailored for you.

Why attend?

At the Satellite Applications Catapult, one of our areas of expertise lies in providing seamless connectivity by bridging the gap between terrestrial (TN) and non-terrestrial networks (NTN). This masterclass will help you better understand space enabled connectivity capabilities and how 5G, 6G, and satellite integration can create new business opportunities and revenue streams across various sectors.

It’s not always about the highest data rate, the lowest latency, or the most advanced technology, it’s about the seamless, resilient and uninterrupted access to information and services to empower your market presence.

Who is the session designed for?

The session will be appropriate for businesses from any sector looking to adopt new technology and to utilise satellite and cellular communication enabled solutions. You may be an Agritech business, work as a Health care and telemedicine service providers, be a Telecom professionals/provider or be an autonomous transport start up. If you’re not sure if the session is right for you, please get in touch with us. Click here to see case studies of various projects we are currently working on at the Satellite Applications Catapult.

What will the session involve?

We employ a User Centred Design (UCD) approach to space enabled service development, putting the user at the heart of product, technology, or service design in order to de-risk its development. It’s a process that will make sure that you build the right thing and build the thing right.

In this session aimed at UK businesses, members of our Ubiquitous Connectivity (UC) Team from the Satellite Applications Catapult will combine presentations with practical activities. Our aim is to help you frame your understanding of how satellite technology can enhance connectivity for the challenge you are solving, into a set of clear requirements, and the commercial considerations of how you shape your service.

Why are we doing it?

Our mission, in partnership with the UK Space Agency (UKSA) is to grow the space sector, and that means growing new space businesses!
