Space Technology Innovation Masterclasses: How to Launch Your In-Orbit Business the Right Way
Are you designing a new product or service to operate in space but are unsure how to get your hardware into orbit? Are you looking for ways to navigate between customers, competitors, and potential partners? Are you ready to find some clarity in where you sit in a fast-changing LEO value chain?
Our workshop is designed for organisations of all sizes and industries, who are looking to develop new mission concepts and service future satellite applications and opportunities beyond Earth.
This session
Whether you’re a new startup or an established company, our Beyond Earth workshop is designed to help you map your supply chain and stakeholders, translate customer needs into value propositions, and identify key milestones between here and orbit. Our Beyond Earth team at the Catapult will also provide expertise and insight into the latest advances in space technology, innovations and capabilities, both prevalent and evolving, as we work with businesses to explore and capture new opportunities beyond Earth.
The Beyond Earth Team at the Satellite Applications Catapult are working on the forefront of in-space services, supporting the development or in-orbit servicing and manufacturing businesses, as well as launch, propulsion, and in-space operations.
In this interactive online class aimed at UK businesses we combine presentations from our experts with interactive activities to help you shape your technology and product offerings and make informed decisions on how to take advantage of the in-orbit commercial opportunities available to you.
Why are we doing it?
Our mission is to grow the space sector, and that means growing new space businesses. To this end, and in partnership with the UK Space Agency, the Satellite Applications Catapult is excited to be launching a series of Space Technology Innovation Masterclasses, where sector experts will share tools and techniques for designing with space technology and support you to explore these using your own services as examples.
Keep an eye out for our other classes in the series, starting with taking a user centred approach to better understand the problems you are trying to solve, to focusing on understanding your place in the Earth observation data landscape, and leveraging connectivity to ensure your data service can be delivered to anywhere!
