Horizon 2020 Space Call early draft issued by EC

Horizon 2020 is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness. Running from 2014 to 2020 with a budget of just over £70 billion, the EU’s new programme for research and innovation is part of the drive to create new growth and jobs in Europe. £1.7bn has been allocated to space over the six-year period including £144m directly for Galileo/GNSS and £4m for outreach through education.

The first call is planned to open on 11 December 2013, and close on 4 April 2014.
