Satellite Applications Catapult seeks Business Leader to join the Regional Clusters Advisory Board

11 October 2023

Regional Clusters Advisory Board (RCAB) forms an essential part of the governance for the Satellite Applications Catapult regional programme which is supported by UK Space Agency. RCAB helps the Catapult access advice from organisations supporting the growth of the UK Space Sector.

The Satellite Applications Catapult is one of a network of Technology and Innovation organisations which aim to drive economic growth and the commercialisation of research. One way we do this is to engage, support and grow local expertise, capabilities, and facilities across the UK. RCAB has a key role in helping to deliver these objectives by providing advice and recommendations on the strategic direction of space clusters growth across the UK to achieve the ambitions outlined in the National Space Strategy to create a whole UK space ecosystem.

RCAB has a pan-UK focus, meets three times per annum and comprises of representatives from Industry, Academia, and Government. We now have an opportunity for a new Business Leader to join the Board to represent the view of industry operating in the UK space sector.

We therefore invite nominations from Business Leaders operating in the UK space sector to join RCAB for a 2-hour hybrid meeting usually in January, May and October which may take place across the UK.

To nominate please send a short note on your professional background and why you’re interested in representing industry views as a RCAB Member to Dr Nafeesa Dajda, Director of National Capability at the Satellite Applications Catapult on ncct@sa.catapult.org.uk  by 11 October 2023.
