2019 marked the third successful year for the DATA.SPACE event held in Glasgow, Scotland, by the Scottish Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications (SoXSA). With its unique focus on the data facet of space, this international conference and exhibition attracts delegates from academia, industry, and government across the globe who are keen to explore the opportunities space data could facilitate.
DATA.SPACE also serves to highlight the burgeoning space industry in Scotland, where growth is outstripping the rest of the UK. The event has already stimulated several collaborations, including one between Orbital Micro Systems and the University of Edinburgh.
