TechDemoSat

TechDemoSat is the UK’s national satellite to test and prove the next generation of space hardware in orbit. The aim is to provide successful demonstrations of the payloads in operational conditions.

Both the Satellite Applications Catapult and Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd are involved in the spacecraft and mission operations.

Eight payloads were chosen for this mission, which are categorised into four suites: Maritime, Space Environment, Air and Land Monitoring, and Platform Technology.
