SPINtern Showcase

An opportunity for interns and supervisors to meet and network with one another and to learn about projects undertaken in 2022.

Please join us for the SPINtern Showcase on 29 November 2022 at the Leeds Nexus Building, University of Leeds. The SPINtern Showcase is a fantastic way to end the 2022 SPIN programme, enabling many interns and supervisors to meet again after their placement, allowing the cohort of SPINterns to network with each other, and most importantly for the space community to learn about the exciting range of projects that the SPINterns undertook in 2022.

On the day, the SPINterns will have the opportunity to give a lightning talk on their placement and there will be a display of the posters produced by the SPINterns. Plus, we will also have talks from the organisers of the SPIN programme, previous SPINterns, we will hear from organisations that hosted SPINterns, and there will be a tour of the Leeds Nexus Building. The showcase is also open to other space employers to come and see what can be achieved by an intern and possibly find their next recruit!
