The Space Bridge is a collaboration between the Australian and UK Governments to enhance cooperation across both countries to grow their respective space industries. In Australia, this is supported by Austrade and the Australian Space Agency. In the United Kingdom, this is supported by the UK Department for International Trade and the UK Space Agency.

This event will showcase the successful R&D projects, co-funded by the SmartSat Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), the UK Science and Innovation Network (SIN), and the Satellite Applications Catapult Ltd:

  • Project P4-21 National Cooperation and Market Development in EO Cal-Val
  • Project P4-22 V-Band Radio Channel Prediction for Next Generation LEO Constellations
  • Project P4-23 IceCube: Detecting and classifying Antarctic sea ice cover with Low Earth Orbit nanosatellites and artificial intelligence
  • Project P4-24 Towards a Federated Quantum Key Distribution System – the Australian Element
  • Project P4-25 Advancing remote sensing benefits to agriculture through hyperspectral processing

This is a hybrid event with in-person and virtual attendance options. Join us in-person at Cicada Innovations at 4.30pm for a 5.00pm start. The virtual event will commence from 5.00pm (AEST) / 8.00am (London, UK) sharp. In-person attendees are invited to stay for networking drinks from 6.30pm.
