The Satellite Applications Catapult, along with partners from Defra’s Earth Observation Centre of Excellence and Aberystwyth University, is hosting a workshop that aims to bring together UK and international GIS and Earth Observation (EO) experts from academia, industry and government. The goal of the workshop is to explore evolving standards and production of Sentinel-2 Analysis Ready Data (ARD).

This is the second and final workshop of a project led by the Catapult on defining a standard for Sentinel-2 ARD. The first workshop took place in April and the outputs can be seen here.

The objective of this workshop is to present the final outputs of the project in light of relevant European and international Sentinel-2 ARD activities. The workshop will also showcase the products of a proposed processing chain based on the Atmospheric and Radiometric Correction of Satellite Imagery (ARCSI) software.

The event will continue to build a community around Sentinel-2 ARD, both in the UK and internationally, that can input to the requirements for a Sentinel-2 ARD product in an open, transparent, sustainable and reiterative way. If you would like to join LinkedIn group, please click here.

The agenda will be made available shortly.
