Satellite Applications for AgriTech Business Acceleration Programme
The Satellite Applications for AgriTech Business Acceleration Programme is an opportunity for you to grow your business with access to funding and support to expand your reach in the UK and Chinese markets.
The programme is a collaborative effort between the 11th China UK Entrepreneurship Competition and the Satellite Applications Catapult offering between £200,000 – £1 million in investment to companies within the Catapult network from the China UK Enterprise Fund.
10 companies will be shortlisted, and we aim to invest in up to five qualified companies. Shortlisted companies will be invited to attend a workshop in London on Thursday 8 November 2018.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible to apply for this programme, you must have:
- A minimum of two years’ trading history with full accounts showing healthy financials (e.g. profitable or on track to achieving profitability
- Developed a UK growth plan, including plans of creating employment over the next two years and have plans to spend the investment in the UK within 3 years
- A desire to collaborate with a Chinese investor and expand the AgriTech markets in both the UK and China
- Availability on Thursday 8 November to attend a workshop in London hosted by Ying De Group, if your company is shortlisted
How do I apply?
Please provide a response of no longer than two pages of A4 detailing your eligibility for the programme according to the above criteria and a short summary describing your business.
Send your response to info@sa.catapult.org.uk stating ‘Satellite Applications for AgriTech Business Acceleration Programme’ in the subject line.
Applications must be received on or before Thursday 1 November 2018.
How is the competition funded?
The Satellite Applications for AgriTech Business Acceleration Programme is funded by Ying De Group through the China UK Enterprise Fund and the UK government-backed Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa scheme dedicated to investment in outstanding companies.
