Satellite Applications Catapult sponsors London Space Week 2017

3 October 2017 – The Satellite Applications Catapult is taking part in the third edition of London Space Week (LSW), which takes place on 4-5 October 2017.
LSW is one of Europe’s major business-to-business space events, attracting over 600 participants, providing 3,400 business-to-business meetings and 20 conferences and workshop, and for the first time, hosting a Space Start-up Challenge. LSW is dedicated to space applications, launch vehicles, satellites and space-related technologies, with delegates including SMEs, investors, buyers and space agencies.
In support of LSW 2017, the Catapult is exhibiting and also sponsoring the Space Start-up Challenge, whereby shortlisted start-ups will be judged for their innovations by a committee of industry experts, including the Catapult?s Head of Business Innovation, Dr Sam Adlen.
Dr Adlen will be speaking at 1.00pm on the first day of the conference, on the subject of “Technological Advances Driving the Next Generation of Satellite Applications”, while Emerging Technology Lead in Digital Intelligence, Stephen Spittle, will be participating in the SME Showcase Panel on the second day.
