The Satellite Applications Catapult has developed a visualisation platform for the use of urban change detection. The platform allows multiple data sources to be overlaid onto high resolution satellite imagery and provides town planners the ability to see where change has occurred.
This platform has also been used to visualise a wide variety of other data sets, including areas of flooding, tree coverage and soil sealing.
