Watch This Space, 4-10th October 2021

Launching as part of World Space Week, the Surrey Hampshire Space Hub is facilitating two exclusive online events, bringing together experts and employers from the space sector with curious and innovative minds from local universities.

And you’re invited.

Day 1 Wednesday 6th October at 15:00 will look at Careers in Space – opening up and exploring pathways for businesses and university students in the South East. Join us for presentations from:

• DSTL
• Night Sky
• Airbus
• University of Southampton
• In-Space Missions

There will also be opportunities to network after the event.

Day 2 Thursday 7th October at 10:00 will then focus on Research in Space – providing an opportunity for universities, businesses and research students to exchange and explore their space research, innovation concepts and ideas.

Breakout rooms will allow for further discussion and networking.

This event is organised by the Surrey Hampshire Space Hub, in collaboration with the South Coast Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications, and the Satellite Applications Catapult. It will feature leading universities across the region, including the University of Portsmouth, University of Reading, Solent University, University of Southampton and University of Surrey.

Led by Enterprise M3 LEP, the Surrey Hampshire Space Hub brings together businesses, local authorities, university networks, and support organisations. The Hub helps facilitate cooperation between space and other sectors, including 5G, immersive tech, clean growth, agri-tech, med-tech and cybersecurity.
