An event with displays from national and international emergency response organisations.
The day will show how national and international organisations respond to emergencies and how this is evolving taking account of emerging technologies and decreasing budget.
Additionally, the event will provide opportunities for academic organisations looking into research possibilities and recruitment opportunities for relevant industries with attendees from colleges, universities, emergency response rosters and the general public.
This is in coordination with the SimEx Series multinational disaster response simulation.
The event is free and informal should you wish to participate for part or all of the day’s activities.
Travel: Portsmouth Harbour train station, The Hard Bus Interchange, the Gosport Ferry and Wightlink foot-passenger terminal are only 7 minutes walk from Ravelin Park.
Driving: Exit the M27 at Junction 12, then join the M275 motorway which brings you directly into Portsmouth, following the brown signs to Historic Dockyards takes you to Gunwarf Quay Parking which is 5 minutes from Ravelin Park. There is a car park and drop off point next to the marquee at PO1 2QQ for any equipment.
