Offshore Wind and Autonomy Workshop

As part of the UK Government’s Offshore Wind Sector Deal, a new industry programme, the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership, will help UK companies seeking to grow their business in the rapidly-growing global offshore wind market. Over the next 10 years £100m will be made available to develop the UK supply chain, working with local enterprise partnerships, councils and development agencies, increasing productivity and fostering innovation.

In response to this exciting opportunity, the South Coast Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications, in partnership with the National Oceanography Centre and the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, are holding an industry-focused workshop on January 13th 2020. The workshop will bring together a range of specialists and stakeholders with expertise in robotics, autonomous systems, sensor technologies, data analytics, artificial intelligence algorithms, wind farm operations, port operations, logistics and telecommunications to address key sector challenges and develop fundable multi-disciplinary projects.
